Giving in South Africa kicks off November 5th 2017, and you're invited to take part in the festivities. Johannesburg is our meeting spot and then we head to Cape Town and next it's Durban for some true vacation fun. One week of of service, fun beaches, museums, safaris and excitement. Come one, come all, book your flights, bring a friend, and create memories of a lifetime while giving back.
Giving in South Africa kicks off on November 5th, 2017, and you're invited to take part in the festivities. Johannesburg is our meeting spot and then we'll head to Cape Town and end in Durban. It will be the most amazing for 9 Days and 8 Nights of service, fun and excitement. Here's everything you need to know and do to meet us there, we can't wait!
Step 1. Register
Registration is open now until Friday, October 20th, 2017.
Single Occupancy - $1820.00
Double Occupancy - $1165.00
Triple Occupancy -$950.00
Quadruple Occupancy - $830.00
The registration is per person and the fees cover the following:
- Local ground transportation to and from scheduled events and missions
- Transportation to and from the airports
- Hotel accommodations (7 Nights) in all cities including daily breakfast
- Hospitality receptions with light food and beverages
- Official Mission T-Shirts (2)
- Official Mission Tote Bag
- Flights to Cape Town and Durban
*All guests will be responsible for their own flight transportation to and from South Africa as well as spending money. Guests will be required to present a credit card to cover incidentals at each hotel.

Step 2. Tell Your Friends
You can't keep all this goodness to yourself! Share the experience with your friends and family, save money on your hotel room by splitting the cost and create lifelong memories with those you love.
Step 3. Pay Your Deposit
We have locked in some incredible rates at out host hotels in each city, registration fees include hotel stay, in country flights, ground transportation, parties and much more. Secure your spot with a $125 deposit and make payments on your balance in increments of $99 as often as you'd like until you're paid in full!
Please Note: Rates will are subject to increase due to flight increases and other travel hikes beyond our control. We recommend everyone try and have their trip paid in full by September, 2017.
Step 4. Join a Committee
We invite you to join us by being a huge part of curating this experience for all of us. We have set up several options for committees including: Events, Missions, Entertainment, Sponsorships, Promotions and Welcome Committee are just a few areas we need help. Step 5. Book Flights
All guests need to fly into Johannesburg - O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) and fly out of Durban - Durban International Airport (DUR).
We recommend you search your favorite travel site for discounted fares, keep in mind the cheapest flights to South Africa are out of South Florida (Miami and Ft. Lauderdale), New York, NY (LGA, JFK and Newark) and Washington, DC (IAD). Lastly check out Airfare Watchdog to set-up a flight alert and get the best price for your airline tickets.
We have also created a partnership with Airfordable.com where you can pay a deposit and make payments on your flight, click here to save $25 now.
We are looking to bring on more flight partners, discounts will require 10 or more people flying from the same city, as participants register, we will match the cities and inform all of our registrants with discount flight information when it is available.
Travel Dates:
Depart - Saturday, November 4th, 2017 (Note Flight Times Range from 12-15 Hours Nonstop to 18-24 hours with stops there is a five hour time difference). Please plan to arrive by 8PM on Sunday, November 5th in time for our Welcome to South Africa Party.
Return - Monday, November 13th, 2016
*Once you have booked your flight, please email your itinerary to events@blackcelebritygiving.com, we will schedule your ground transportation to and from the hotel and send you a copy of your confirmation.
Step 6. Collect Items for a Mission of Your Choice!
We're asking each attendee to rally their friends and family around the cause by collecting items or raising funds to purchase items once we arrive to South Africa. Some of the items we need to fulfill each mission include:
School Supplies - Crayons, Construction Paper, Pens, Pencils, Markers and Binders.
Feminine Hygiene Products and Toiletries - Items to collect include: Tampons, Maxi-pads, Feminine Wipes, Toothbrushes, Tissue, Toothpaste, Washcloths, Lotion and Deodorant.
Art Supplies - Canvasses, Paint, Paint Brushes, Crayons, Markers, Construction Paper, Crafts.
Clothing and Shoes- We will be visiting South Africa during the summer, we have a special emphasis on children's clothing, backpacks and new shoes.

November 5th -The Role call!
Step off the plane and meet us in Johannesburg for our welcome party and first mission city.
Enjoy three days in Johannesburg including a Safari, visit to the Mandela House museum and the Apartheid Museum and of course an impactful service mission.
November 8th- We Head to Cape Town!
Enjoy Three Days and Two Nights in Cape Town exploring beaches in what has been named one of the most beautiful places in the world; we'll also host a mission for women and girls .
November 10th - Off to Durban!
It's time to party and do some more good as we head to our final destination of Durban.
November 13th - We Say Goodbye to South Africa!
Guests will depart South Africa on Sunday, November 12th or Monday, November 13th and head home!

We will offer four service mission
experiences. We'll also visit musems, beaches and more.
Nightly mix and mingle with other travelers are our hospitality receptions before you hit the town!
